Arriving at a new world, from A New Blue Trailer · A New Blue Flat version

[ Synopsis ]

Thousands of worlds circle other stars. A few might have oceans.

For most of history, the planets of other stars were pure speculation. Today astronomers have confirmed thousands of them, many found by catching a star dim for a few hours as a world passes in front of it.

A New Blue follows that detective work, from the first discoveries to today's telescopes. Audiences travel to K2-18b and Kepler-186f, learn how scientists read a planet's atmosphere from starlight, and imagine the technologies that might one day carry us to a second Earth.
